Interest Rates on September 10, 2025!

Here’s the latest on U.S. mortgage interest rates as of Wednesday, September 10, 2025:

  • 30-Year Fixed Mortgage Rate (purchase): approximately 6.46%, with a refinance rate closer to 6.67% Bankrate+1.

  • Other key benchmarks:

    • Freddie Mac reports the average 30-year fixed rate at 6.50% as of the week ending September 4 FRED.

    • The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) also shows the 30-year fixed rate dropped to about 6.49%, hitting an 11-month low Reuters.

    • Daily tracking from Mortgage News Daily lists it at 6.29% for September 10
